Note that on EL5, you will also need to install libicu during step 1, or step 3 will fail. Sorry, couldn't find the edit button on the actual wiki page
Hello, folks. I'm a Brazilian Fedora ambassador and in my country we are developing one wiki for the community to contribute about Fedora documentation. We really like the skin of your wiki and we are hoping that you can share this skin with us.
The wiki is not considered official because of some proprietary codecs and hints used by the community, but in the same way as Livna we are "undirected" linked to the official project.
With regards
I think that links to download the 1.1 binaries are missing. There are people that have servers without connection to the Net and must do offline installations or upgrades.
[richm] - There are no explicit links, but you could navigate down through http://directory.fedoraproject.org/yum/ to find all of the RPMs for your platform. You could probably use wget to download all of the rpms for your platform and arch. --Rich Megginson 11:09, 11 April 2008 (EDT)
Also note, the fedora-extras PGP key is in the wrong case. You will get an error when trying to import the key using RPM. Use this command instead:
rpm --import http://archives.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora/linux/core/6/i386/os/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora-extras
